Felt heart

I recently purchased Kirstie Allsopps book on crafting. These felt hearts are the first project I've had a go at making. There so simple and look effective. Great for Valentines.

Perfect for a snowy day

To keep me warm whilst the snow is falling outside, I decided to do a little baking. Scones and chocolate chip cookies.

Machine embroidery

I decided to investigate machine embroidery after seeing it on tv. I had no idea I could even do this on my sewing machine. So I bought I darning foot and some embroidery thread. This butterfly is my first attempt at machine embroidery.
