Ginger biscuits recipe

300g self raising flour
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp ground ginger
100g caster sugar
50g margarine
3 tbsp golden syrup
4 tbsp milk

1. Heat oven to 160 C.
2. Mix flour, salt and ginger in a bowl.
3. Warm sugar, margarine, and syrup in a pan then add to dry ingredients and mix well.
4. Add milk and mix to a firm consistency. Then knead.
5. Roll out and cut shapes with a cutter.
6. Place on a silicone baking sheet and cook for 10-15 mins.

Note: I like my ginger biscuits to taste strong, if you require a milder taste add less ginger to the mix.
